The film follows two widows of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Susan Retik and Patti Quigley, in their effort to look for meaning despite their incalculable personal loss. Courageously choosing love rather than hate, they found the charitable organization Beyond the 11th, which helps innumerable war widows in Afghanistan have a chance to earn a living.
